Hyper Intelligence – MicroStrategy

There were similar things happening and already available as add-ons when you install an Anti-virus like AVG or Avista on your PC or Laptop. This add-on indicates you, on the go, on a webpage, whether a particular link is secure to visit or not. It basically does a sanity check on all the links available on any web page. It scans whatever you receive as the top results on your google search page. We can call it “Hyper information” or something like that.

Now indicating that a link is good to visit or not is just a flag. It’s a mere part of whole information, basically, we can say it is a traffic light on all the links on a web page.

MicroStrategy has come up with another level of this idea. In the new version 2019 of MicroStrategy Enterprise edition, Intelligence is happening behind the scene, and giving the right insights and analysis to the end-user by just hovering a link or text on a web page is what they named as “Hyper-Intelligence”.

It’s a new mark of MicroStrategy by adding tools and technologies towards achieving true enterprise solutions in the realm of Business Intelligence.

It scans the whole page or website, a web email, or any micro strategy object you are running inside the browser. If the MicroStrategy hyper-intelligence extension is installed, it automatically starts working with the global data sets available on the MicroStrategy library. If you want to add your own environment, you just have to change the library link with your environment’s link in the setting option of this extension. This way we can put intelligence on top of intelligence for the end-user, to get quick insight related to any keyword on the webpage.

Whenever you hover a link or keyword on the webpage the extension shows this information in the form of a hover panel, which MicroStrategy calls “HypeCards”. HyperCard can itself be a small dashboard containing minimal information with optimal insights. Considering the significance of this feature provided by MicroStrategy, it can be useful in a number of scenarios of the modern insights hungry industries.

Hype-Cards can be useful in enhancing or as value addition in different sectors of industries of the web.

  • A retail website can monitor the comparison of prices of its own product with other competitor in the market in real time for its website or app users.
  • Fortune 500 companies can provide it to their website’s user to show a real time comparison between their stock values, prices etc. with other companies registered on stock market.
  • A university website can show the comparison of enroll students and placed in companies in a particular course, while user is already looking a dashboard meant for some other insight purpose.

These are just mere examples but there can be n number of possibilities, these HyperCards can be useful. Having insights available on the go is what exactly the need of time when you don’t need to visit a complete web app or dashboard; you just have to hover a keyword and there are the powerful insights you need on your plate on the go.
